Terms

The plain version of what we each agree to. Anything specific to your project — what is being built, what it costs, when it is due — is in the quote you agreed, and that comes first if the two ever disagree.

What you get

A shop set up for your business, on an address you control, with a dashboard for you and logins for your staff. Hosting, security updates and fixes are included for as long as your plan is running.

Some parts of the system are only switched on for shops that need them. Which ones you have is what was agreed when the shop was built; more can be turned on later.

What you pay

Either a one-time build with a yearly care fee, or a monthly or yearly subscription — whichever was agreed. The care fee and the subscription cover the same thing: hosting, updates and support.

A plan may cap how many products you can list and how many staff logins you can create. You will see the cap in your dashboard before you reach it, and you can move up a plan at any time.

If a payment is missed

We will ask first. If an account stays unpaid, the shop can be suspended until it is settled — your data is not deleted while it is suspended.

If you decide to stop, tell us and take your data out. We will not hold a shop hostage over a bill.

What is yours and what is ours

Everything you put in is yours: your products, your photos, your text, your orders, your customers. You can export it from the dashboard whenever you like.

The software itself stays ours. You are licensed to use it for your business for as long as your plan runs; it is not sold to you and it is not to be resold.

What you are responsible for

That what you sell is legal to sell, that your descriptions and prices are honest, and that you keep the tax, refund and delivery rules of the country you sell in.

Keeping your logins to yourself. Anything done from an account is treated as done by the person it belongs to — which is exactly why every member of staff should have their own.

What we cannot promise

That the shop will never be offline. We depend on hosts, payment providers and networks that occasionally fail; when something breaks, we fix it as fast as we can.

That any change to your shop's design or content is reversible by us. Delete something outside the 30-day recycle bin and it is gone — take a backup before a big change.

Changes to these terms

If these change in a way that affects you, we will tell you before it applies. The date at the top says when this version was written.
